Congratulations to Miss Shawna M. Gibson on her selection to receive a "Roland D. Johnson" Memorial Scholarship grant!  These sholarship grants are awarded annually to applicants from the graduating class of Custer High School who plan to attend a; public or private college, university, or technical school.  The scholarships are awarded based on; academic achievement, school and community involvement, and need.

 

A worthy scholarship recipient, Miss Gibson has excelled academically at Custer High School matching that performance with school and community leadership positions plus numerous athletic activities and awards.  These achievements have been reinforced by an instructor's letter of reference emphasizing her social acumen coupled with the potential and drive for self-improvement.  Miss Gibson has been accepted for admission to the University of South Dakota.
