The Trestleboard is used by the Worshipful Master and the Wardens to plan the work of the Lodge. This is where specific elements of the Worshipful Master's agenda are identified and presented to the Brethren.
Because it is a long-term plan controlled by successive Worshipful Masters, the Trestleboard can span up to 5 years. Its plan is usually well developed. But as the Trestleboard extends further into the future, its plan will become more tentative and subject to modification.
To be most effective, the Trestleboard should be used in conjuction with the Lodge's events calendar and meeting agendas (currently only available at meetings). Together, they provide the range of tools necessary to efficiently manage the Lodge's work.
